In the past 5 years, within the department there have been 4 projects financed by CNCSIS, 5 CEEX projects, 1 PN2 project, 1 grant of the Romanian Academy, 4 research contracts with beneficiaries like ISPH Bucharest, Town Councils, public or with The Ministry of Culture.

International projects: The
PECO’93 Programme: EROSLOPE
(EVSV-CT92-0179) "Slope instability, erosion and solid material transport
in steep catchments – Laboratory and field experimentations" with
the theme: "Sediment sources and delivery from the mountaineous and sumountaineous
drainage basin" (1994 –1995), coordinated by the Partnership within the European projects EFI+ "Improvement and extension of the European Fish Index" through the Contract no. 044096, financed by the European Community for the University of Vienna, Austria (2007-2008) (participants: Maria Rădoane, Nicolae Rădoane). Project
